What cookies and similar technologies are, and how Chartlo uses them.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Together with similar technologies (such as your browser’s local storage), they let the service work and remember your preferences.
1. How we use them
- Essential: keep your sign-in session and account security. Without them, the service doesn't work.
- Preferences: store choices such as theme, palette, language and filters to keep your experience consistent between visits.
- Local storage: we use browser storage (localStorage/IndexedDB) to keep your dashboards and the dataset in use on your own device, without sending them to the server.
2. Third-party cookies
Services we use for authentication and infrastructure may set their own cookies, needed for sign-in and the platform to work.
3. How to manage them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in and using parts of the service. Clearing your browser’s local storage also removes dashboards and data kept only on your device.
